For 20 years, I lived with chronic pain from endometriosis and PCOS.
I began yoga and fitness because my doctors told me to — not because I wanted to heal. At the time, I couldn’t cross my legs, climb stairs without losing breath, or feel connected to my body.
I was in pure survival mode — detached, tense, and angry at the idea of “softness.”

But survival mode lives in the hips. The psoas system keeps the body ready to run, even when the threat is long gone. After 35, everything changed.
Through years of study, movement, and inner work, the pain began to fade — and I finally came home to my body.
